I was almost named Jenny Sue. My grandmother had the idea that my middle name should be the same as my mother’s first name so she could call me Jenny Sue. Thankfully my parents had other ideas.
Three years ago we moved way outside Chicago so that we could have more room to live with and train our dogs (six – yes, six, although five of them are quite small). We compete nationally in agility, dog obstacle course.
In almost 25 years with my husband, we have enjoyed competing against and alongside each other. It is a test of a relationship! We have raced sailboats (he wins hands down), ridden road bikes (he can beat me but I push him hard), and dog training (toss up – depends who you ask but two of my dogs are ranked in the top of their breed and he only has one, just saying).
