3.5 years

When did you join the BioIQ team?

What do you enjoy most about working at BioIQ?

I get to scooter into the office everyday. And by scooter I mean a red and silver Razor push scooter that is designed for children. The age recommendation for the product is 5 and up, so I am still technically in the clear.

Fun Facts

My twin brother and I are the perfect embodiment of yin and yang. My heritage is Danish/Mexican and we both only got the gene pool from one side or the other. There is a now famous photo of me sitting with my siblings and my mother (all of which look like the Mexican side of the family) where Erick Montes commented, “You look like the friend they allowed to join their family photo shoot.”

With my theatre company, I have performed in Macedonia on three separate occasions, with trips to Albania, Serbia and Croatia planned for the future. You know you’ve made it when you’re famous in the Balkans.

I am also the CFO at BioIQ (Chief Fish Tank Officer). I have been a saltwater fishtank enthusiast since my parents got their first aquarium when I was young. Now I care for Nascar, Mario and Luigi, Rocky, Spiderman and Lazarus in the Santa Barbara office (if you can match each name to each corresponding creature in the tank, I’ll give you a prize). I also enjoy building new tanks from scratch, so if anyone is interested in getting a new fish tank, just let me know (looking at you Atlanta office).
