BioIQ Launches Corporate Wellness Solutions for Diabetes Testing

Tests for Cardiovascular Disease and Kidney Disease to Follow Shortly.

BioIQ, the leader in consumer-friendly biometric testing products and services, has announced the availability of corporate wellness solutions for employers across the United States. The initial program features in-home diabetes testing. Upcoming programs will screen for cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, and other chronic conditions.

“HR professionals love the BioIQ service because it is easy, comprehensive, and actionable—enabling employees to take a proactive role in their own health,” said Justin Bellante, CEO at BioIQ. “We handle every aspect of the program, including a complete marketing communications plan to get employees involved and walk them through each step of the process: taking the diagnostic test, completing a health assessment, and understanding the results.”

BioIQ has leveraged the latest advances in biometric testing technology to allow employees to perform key health screenings at work or at home. BioIQ reports are concise and easy to understand, with comprehensive informatics tailored to each individual.

According to the American Diabetes Association, 20.8 million Americans have diabetes, or 7 percent of the U.S. population. Of these, 6.2 million do not know they have the disease. BioIQ is helping people detect this pervasive disease in its early stages, often before symptoms occur.

BioIQ’s diagnostic service is part of a complete health assessment program. The company considers each person’s test results in the context of his or her lifestyle, eating habits, exercise regimen, and many other factors to compute a BioIQ score—a numeric index of their overall health. Employees can view their test results by logging in to secure, password-protected accounts on the BioIQ web site. All employee information and test results are kept private as per HIPAA guidelines.
