BioIQ’s Senior VP of Client Analytics, Carrie Cowdin, talks about her extensive healthcare background and explains how her passion for analytics and patient experience grew throughout her career in the latest edition of HIMSS Clinical Informatics Insights.

Carrie’s path towards leading BioIQ’s analytics offerings began in nursing school and took a few turns along the way. Her time working for a managed care organization taught her new ways to find stories in data and more importantly, how to look for solutions that could change the course of healthcare spending, utilization and disease management.

Building a data warehouse gave her a new perspective on a host of different healthcare areas – all of which she applies to the work she does today closing care gaps and finding ways to improve the patient experience.
