Each year Pacific Coast Business Times selects forty business leaders under the age of forty who have distinguished themselves as visionaries in their fields and leaders in their communities. BioIQ CEO Justin Bellante was honored to make this year’s list.
“40 Under 40 has come to symbolize the new generation of dynamic, diverse, and talented leaders who are rapidly taking their places among the leadership ranks of businesses and nonprofits in the Tri-County area,” said Henry Dubroff, an editor at the paper who was involved in the selection process. “Choosing this year’s winners was extraordinarily difficult since there were so many worthy nominees.”
Dubroff and his colleagues nominated 200 potential contenders and then narrowed the list to 40 winners based on their professional accomplishments, outside recognition, and impact on their industries. Justin, featured on page 1 of the special report, was considered a worthy candidate due to his unwavering leadership at BioIQ and ongoing support of the local startup community. He is a frequent speaker at local universities on the subject of entrepreneurship and health care technology.
