Ashley L. Reynolds, PhD, RN, ACSM-HFS
Chief Experience Officer
Dr. Ashley Reynolds currently serves as BioIQ’s chief experience officer. In his role, he oversees areas that impact the member and client journey. Dr. Reynolds brings more than 26 years of healthcare experience to his role at BioIQ. As a healthcare executive, he has proven his operational and population health expertise leading large regional territories and multiple departments within health plan, disease management, health technology, and wellness companies.
An expert in the area of e-health and wireless technologies as tools for behavior change, as well as the age-related differences in their adoption, Dr. Reynolds has published on the effectiveness of virtual coaches to reduce health risks. He is a frequent national speaker on health, wellness, technology-mediated health behavior, and the use of digital coaching tools to improve health, and has guided the development of awarding-winning mobile health applications. Dr. Reynolds has also participated in several industry-leading committees including: CDC/NIH Diabetes Health Sense Task Force, Digital Health Council for the Society for Behavioral Medicine, Population Health Alliance (PHA) engagement committee, and Technology engagement subcommittee. He is a frequent peer reviewer on the topic of technology and health for the Society for Behavioral Medicine.
Dr. Reynolds is a registered nurse and is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a health and fitness specialist. He is a member of the Society for Behavioral Medicine and the American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Reynolds holds a PhD in nursing science with a minor in health behavior from the University of Florida and bachelor’s and masters degrees in nursing from Jacksonville University.
