Senior Product Manager

Job Description

Our vision for a Senior Product Manager is to help us grow the success of our health and wellness platform. While we are a startup at heart, we have found product fit in multiple key markets. Your job will be to take complete ownership of our portal, developing new features, capabilities, and partnerships to further enhance our offering. The role will put you in the driver seat to meet with our clients and collect direct feedback, compiling requests with appropriate decision criteria, and taking approved requests from design to launch. You will also have the opportunity to contribute heavily to the larger product strategy and vision of the platform. Skills & Requirements
  • Strong experience leading digital products through the product management lifecycle, or extensive experience designing successful software and applications (UX / UI / Visual Design) with a desire to take on a larger product leadership role

  • Own the product roadmap for the entire portal experience (from creating engaging health programs to delivering population health analytics)

  • Experience of working in a dynamic startup environment

Job Description

The Director of Data Insights & Reporting is responsible for the direction and oversight of analytics, reporting and research to support internal and external reporting needs to support BioIQ’s business strategy.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish and implement a roadmap to manage the flow, analysis, and consumption of data across all BioIQ programs and clients
• Create, implement, and maintain a set of policies, standards and processes for the management of BioIQ data.
• Develop, manage, and validate existing data models including logical and physical models of the ODS and core systems
• Oversee team in the extraction, aggregation and quality assurance of data from multiple sources in support of performing client reporting, operational reporting and quantitative analyses of utilization and health costs.
• Direct the development and execution of analytical and/or research activities to provide senior leadership with information and tools for strategic decision making and planning
• Research, identify, & implement new approaches and methods to facilitate medical cost management, alternative pricing strategies and benchmarks.
• Provide best-in-class reporting and analytics to demonstrate the value of BioIQ’s products and services. Drive the continual development of “best practice” client consulting and analytics tools.
• Ensure consistency of approach related to analysis techniques, key findings, and the developments of client recommendations/opportunities.
• Develop and prepare departmental scorecards & dashboards showing high level results and trends.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to advance the company’s reporting capabilities and improve accuracy of data.
• Research outliers and identify root causes of issues identified in reports; will require understanding of overall business.
• Maintain relationships with and provide reporting & analytical support to business units and support cross-functional projects.
• Determine opportunities and identify solutions to improve capabilities and efficiency of reporting.
• Effectively communicate workload prioritization and progress to all interested parties.
• Hire, train, and develop all team members.
• Educate account teams and sales leadership so that they better understand informatics capabilities and performance metrics and manage client needs/demands.

Requirements

8+ years’ work experience in data governance, data management, analytics, reporting, database development and/or project management with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/technologies/processes related to the position, preferably in the healthcare industry or a similar environment
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and complete large collaborative projects
• Demonstrated ability to run a data governance program and develop a long term plan for it
• 3+ years’ experience with analytics in data warehouse environment
• 5+ years’ experience managing analytical teams
• Experience with advanced data visualization tools a plus, such as Pentaho and Tableau
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills and experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to translate data into meaningful information in report or presentation formats
• Innovative/Creative
• Strong knowledge of managed care data reporting and analysis such as HEDIS, quality of care studies, benchmarking, predictive modeling and risk stratification, etc
• Ability to think strategically with appropriate level of detail analysis to plan and execute
• Ability to solve problems and drive issues or projects to conclusion

Education

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Management, or a related field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Data & Reporting Quality Assurance Analyst – Atlanta, GA

BioIQ is seeking a Data & Reporting Quality Assurance Analyst to actively engage in establishing data quality best practices and processes and conduct data centric Quality Assurance testing for out data and reporting initiatives. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Works closely with Reporting, Business Intelligence and ETL teams to determine testing strategy, prepare and maintain the test plan and use case documentation and manage and execute test plans for BI, reporting and ETL solutions under test
  • Capable of testing Business Intelligence reporting solutions developed using Pentaho BI and ETL toolset, MySQL DBMS and MS Excel.
  • Write well formatted ANSI SQL queries against MySQL databases
  • Navigate OLTP, ROLAP and MOLAP relational database schemas
  • Write, revise, and verify data quality standards and test procedures for testing reporting portal, data extract and report output to ensure completeness and quality of deliverables
  • Validates data output, formatting, and queries to ensure validity of results, accuracy, reliability, performance, and/or conformity to established standards
  • Reviews new or modified reports, including documentation, diagrams, and flow charts, to determine if data output aligns to user request, business analyst requirements, and conformity to Quality Assurance initiatives and guidelines
  • Sets up tests cases and scenarios, with user input and based upon test cases and standards to identify and recommend solutions to data quality issues
  • Evaluates and monitors reporting application and database query performance after implementation to ensure high availability and accuracy, and that proper performance of Reporting and BI environments
  • Documents errors and recommends improvements and/or corrections to Report and ETL developers
  • Participates in report requirements and design walkthroughs
  • Works within industry best practices and QA standards to perform the Quality Assurance function, track and monitor identified issues, ensure accurate, reliable and high performing reporting environment, and data quality and integrity improvements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) OR High School Diploma/GED 2+ years of data Quality Assurance Testing experience.
  • 3+ year’s experience with development and implementation of Quality Assurance initiatives, building of quality standards and test cases, and performance parameters required.
  • 3+ years’ experience with navigating database management systems (e.g.. MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server) and writing ANSI SQL queries
  • 2+ years’ experience performing Data and Reporting Quality Assurance testing
  • Intimate knowledge in QA/testing methodologies and best practices, including ETL validation, black box/ white box, Inspection or Sampling techniques and load/capacity testing.
  • Advanced level of proficiency in establishing data centric Test Plans and test cases
  • Advanced level of proficiency with MS Excel
  • HIPAA regulations and PHI compliance awareness
  • Experience with Open Source Database testing tools a plus
  • Healthcare data experience strongly preferred
